This is my mental post-it note when faced with situations that demand a response. Sadly, I fail to use it as often as I should.
My own version of Viktor Frankl’s far more eloquent words - “Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”
I find that pausing situations hands me the remote control of my life back. It enables me to live a more mindful and examined life.
Now, to find a way to use it more…
